Rent a Luxury Vacation Cabin in the Mountains of North Georgia Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a place to entertain the entire family, or simply want to relax amongst the quiet splendor of Georgia’s Smokey Mountains, we have got your answer… and travel time is only 90 minutes north of Atlanta! Bluejay Cabins offers two distinct very private mountain experiences.
Located in Fannin County, Georgia next to the Chattahoochee National Forest, 3 Bears Cabin has a year round scenic layered mountain view of 3 states ( Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee). Spacious yet cozy, this clean, metal roofed log cabin with ample parking comfortably sleeps four with its queen sized master bedroom suite and queen size spare bedroom.
Although big city bustle seems worlds away, civilization actually is conveniently within 5 miles. The town of Blue Ridge, GA is known for its friendly shopping, mountain crafts, antique stores, area fairs and festivals as well as necessities like good restaurants, grocery stores, and modern medical services.
The Lodge at Mountaintown in Gilmer County, Georgia is only 7 minutes from all the convenience and charm of downtown Ellijay, GA. If trout fishing interests you, this recently renovated 2 BR/1BA riverfront cabin nestles right up to a noisy, crystal clear mountain fed trout stream. The Lodge sleeps four comfortably, has all new appliances and fixtures and because it's in a valley directly on the river, it stays naturally cool.
Both of our Blue Ridge vacation cabin rental properties have a fully equipped kitchen, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. Bed linens, bath towels, paper products and soaps are provided. Both mountain getaway cabins have satellite television with DVD/VCR players, central heat and A/C, ceiling fans, a stone fireplace in the living room with gas logs, and plenty of board games to bring the family together.
What better place is there to spend your honeymoon? Just when was the last time you saw the Milky Way? Did you know that this area is the region’s largest producer of apples? And then there is the fall season's leaf color change... WOW! Mother Nature sure can put on a show!
Among the area’s other nearby family friendly activities are hiking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, biking, georgia mountain festivals, georgia fairs, outlet shopping, drive-in theaters, and Blue Ridge Lake. For adults, gambling on the Cherokee reservation is only a 2 hour drive away.
